🏢 The Braga Academic Clinical Centre (2CA-Braga) has a team specialized in Research and Development (R&D), dedicated to strengthening collaboration between industry and academia. Its main objective is to value scientific knowledge and transform it into innovative solutions, generating a positive and measurable impact on society, benefiting users and health professionals.

💡2CA-Braga's R&D team focuses on the transition from fundamental science to practical applications in clinical and community contexts, supporting all phases of clinical research. With extensive experience in a wide range of projects - from pharmaceuticals and medical devices to digital platforms, software and digital health - the team ensures that innovations are effectively translated into clinical practice. This process ranges from searching for national and international funding to preparing and submitting applications, identifying requirements, developing proofs of concept and drawing up protocols for pilot studies, pivotal studies and clinical trials.
